USER MANUAL on enabling MOBILE BANKING on mobile phones
For the ease of use by the end users, we have Introduced new WAP enabled MOBILE BANKING. This mobile banking facility works on all type of Mobiles having GPRS Connection and there is no need to Download / Install Mobile Application on your Phones.
Only the following is required to use WAP Mobile Banking.
- GPRS connection provided by the service provider like AIRTEL,VODAFONE,BSNL etc.,
- MPIN, a password ( provided by the bank).
How to have WAP Mobile Banking in your mobile ?
Services available in the application:
The customer should have MPIN with him before doing the following. In the
Method 1:
Enable the GPRS system in the mobile. Some mobiles requires the GPRS to be enabled. Some mobiles automatically load the GPRS when switched on.
Send SMS to 9281056789 the following Message
WAP <customerID>
Example : if your customer ID is 123456 send SMS Message like : WAP 123456. To 9281056789 from the Mobile Number which is already registered with the Bank.The Mobile Banking System of our Bank will send a SMS message with a link in it. Just click on the Link and your will be prompted to enter the Customer ID and MPIN to Login. Now the mobile banking services is on and you can start transacting through the mobile banking.
Method 2 :
Enable the GPRS system in the mobile. Some mobiles requires the GPRS to be enabled. Some mobiles automatically load the GPRS when switched on. The mobile number should have been registered with the Bank already. Enable a browser like opera mini in the mobile phone. In the browser type https://www.onlinecub.net/wap/. The Customer will be asked to enter his Customer ID . The customer id will be sent to the mobile banking server for the generation of a password called One Time Password (OTP) . The OTP will be sent in the from of a SMS to the mobile from which the customer id is sent . After getting the OTP go to the above Link(https://www.onlinecub.net/wap/) and enter the customer ID and OTP in the login page to login. Now you are ready to transact through mobile banking.
WAP Mobile Banking can be browsed on any mobile number but OTP will be sent only to the registered mobile number.
NOTE: For doing the Transactions in both the Methods, the user has to use their MPIN.
Using the Mobile Banking, Students can also make Fee Payment .
