Modes of Remittances
 
The remittances can be made in any one of the following methods
  1. Cheque drawn and payable at the bank where you maintain your account abroad.
  2. Cheque drawn on the Bank where you maintain your account in India which should be an (i) NRE account for NRE/FCNR accounts
    (ii) NRE/NRO account for opening NRO accounts
  3. Remit funds through our account with correspondent banks maintained in USD,AUD,CAD,EUR,GBP,JPY,SGD,SEK,AED.  To know the list of correspodent banks click
  4. If you are in Middle East Countries please follow the procedure given below to remit funds.
    • Get the 15 digit Account Number from us which will be provided to you after opening NRE/NRO Savings Account.
    • Know the IFSC Code of the branch where you have opened your NRE/NRO Savings Account. To know the IFSC Code click . The Alphanumeric 11 digit number appearing below the branch name is the IFSC Code.
    • Approach your banker or any exchange house and request them to send funds in Indian Rupees by quoting your 15 Digit Account Number and IFSC Code. Both are mandatory for funds to reach in time.
    • Alternatively, you can request your banker or the exchange house to issue Demand Draft in Indian Rupees in favour of City Union Bank Ltd A/c __________________ (Your Name) payable anywhere in India closer to the branch selected by you.
