Opening a savings bank account is now made easier and faster, you need not visit any of our branches to open an account.

  • City Union Bank introduces ‘CUB easy’ and ‘VIDEO KYC’- a selfie banking facility.
  • Click on CUB Easy and download the App.
  • Share a time of your convenience for a video call.
  • You can book a slot for video verification with Bank representative and confirmation SMS will be sent on booking the slot.
  • You would receive a SMS with the video link for KYC verification process.
  • You will be called prior/during the slot hours.
  • Our Customer Care team will also act as the RE(Registered Entity),will interact through the video call and verify the following parameters.
  • Capture the customer photo and verify it against the photo fetched from UIDAI
  • Capture proof of identity (PAN card)
  • Capture proof of address (recommended Aadhaar but can accept other Government aproved proof)
  • Instruct customer to sign in a plain paper and capture it.
  • Ask customer’s personal information that only he/she knows like Date Of Birth, Mother’s Maiden Name etc.
  • The official shall ensure that the sequence and/or type of questions during video interactions are varied in order to establish that the interactions are real-time and not pre-recorded
  • Ensure the pictures / Video are captured properly.
  • Ends the call informing the customer that he/she would receive a message post KYC verification completion and they can start using our Mobile Banking instantly basis the PIN they had set up.
