15. What are all the conditions for “No Frill” (Small Deposit) account?

• The balances in all the accounts together should not exceed Rs.50000/- and the total credit in all the accounts should not exceed Rs.100000/- of an individual in a year with the year reckoned from the date of opening the account.
• Introduction to be obtained from another account holder whose account is KYC compliant.
• The introducer should certify the photograph and the address of the person to whom the account is opened under “No Frill” category.
• Form A and B as specified in the manual on KYC guidelines to be obtained.

16. What are all the KYC Norms to be adopted in areas affected by natural calamities and what is the purpose?

• Introduction is to be obtained from another account holder who is fully KYC compliant

(or)

• Documents of identity viz., Voter ID Card/Driving license/ Identity card issued by an Office , Company, School, College etc., along with a document indicating the address such as electricity bill, ration card

(or)

• Introduction by two neighbours who have the documents as indicated in (B) above

(or)

• Any other evidence to the satisfaction of the Bank in the absence of all mentioned above.

This is intended especially for availing various relief extended by Government / other agencies.

The Balance should not exceed Rs.50000/- or the amount of relief whichever is higher and the total credit not to exceed Rs.100000/- or the amount of relief which ever is higher in a year.

17. What are all the documents to be produced for opening accounts of newly married women?

• Marriage certificate (Mandatory)
• Notarised affidavit
• Clear Photograph of the wedding of the woman with her husband
• Identification documents of the husband
• Address proof of the husband
• Introduction from an existing customer who has been subjected to full KYC procedures and he is having satisfactory account with the bank for not less than one year.
• Introduction from any respectable person in the locality known to the Bank.
• In case ,the bride is already having an account which is KYC compliant, a self declaration is to be obtained
• In case, the newly married woman working in the organized sector (corporate) the employer’s certificate about proof of residence , changed name / surname

Where the newly married woman working in unorganized sector , a declaration by the introducer (Introducer can be husband or any other person having at least two years of Banking relationship ) about the address and changed name/surname

• A letter of thanks is to be sent by registered post with acknowledgement due to both the introducer and the account holder (to confirm the introduction and the correctness of the address provided)
